EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST

__ Journal (optional)
__ Flashlight
__ Pens
__ Toiletries
__ Sleeping bag
__ Sleeping pad
__ Tent (waterproof the seams!)
__ Two towels (one for sweat lodge)
__ Hiking boots
__ Spare Socks
__ Sit-upon/camp chair
__ Jacket
__ Rain gear
__ Bathing suit
__ Water bottle
__ Day pack
__ Personal Sacred object to place on the community altar
__ Drum (optional) (one that can be played with both hands)
__ Hat or head protection
__ Clothes for temperature ranges of 45 to 75 degrees
__ Sun protection lotion (optional)
__ Sense of Adventure
__ Small supply of non-perishable, nutritious snacks

FOR CAVE:
(Average temp. is 52° and damp)

__ Long underwear, tights or polypropelene (2 layers)
__ Old sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt & heavy pants (things that can get dirty)
__ Protective gloves
__ Foam seat pad (optional)
__ TWO flashlights, preferably small (but bright)
__ extra batteries
__ Head lamp (optional)
__ Waterproof jacket shell and pants (optional)
